TASTEFUL TOURS

As a local food blogger who loves to discover new places, I am proud to announce that I am the Ambassador for Dishcrawl Tampa. On Tuesday, February 5^th, Dishcrawl will debut in the quaint Palma Ceia neighborhood where I will lead a group on a tasting tour through four restaurants. “Dishcrawlers” will sample small plates and have the opportunity to chat with chefs and owners at each stop. 

Restaurants are kept secret until 48 hours prior to the event at which point attendees are notified of the first stop and meeting place. Clues and hints about the featured restaurants will be leaked prior to the events via Facebook and Twitter.

Sprouted from my hometown, San Jose, California, Dishcrawl holds a special place in my heart and after following them on Facebook for two years I jumped at the chance to lead the Tampa expansion. Bringing a piece of the West Coast food scene to my current home is just delicious!

One of the restaurants included in the premier event is none other than local favorite Datz, which is one of the places that helped me fall in love with Tampa. My first visit sparked a love affair and I have been head over heels ever since. Their innovative menu, luscious cocktails and just plain cool vibe has had such an impact on me that they were the first place that came to mind during the planning stages of Dishcrawl Palma Ceia.
