For Creative Loafing's end of the year "List" edition, I was asked to create one for my High on Style column. When I submitted the Smile as one accessory to wear all year, I was aware it didn't qualify as a list but it was what I wanted to "wear" for the piece and it makes as powerful a statement as any I can think of in fashion.

The Smile is the ultimate fashion accessory. It's free, everyone has one and it goes with everything. So as we embark on this new year, I encourage you to harness the joy of wearing it.
