EYE FOR IT
A "Very VERTICAL" Photo Project
A little over two weeks ago, I initiated a personal 52-week photo project. I call it “Very VERTICAL.” It’s designed to be uplifting, mostly to me but I’m happy to share it and hope it inspires you too. Inspires what? Looking at the world. Finding beauty and interest. Appreciating it.
In line with VERTICAL’s other auspicious occasions (I dreamed up the magazine on 03.09.09 and the premier issue launched on 09.09.09), the first image of the photo project was shot on 02.28.14.
The Very VERTICAL photo project aims to keep my eye on what’s important to me. It turns my philosophy for living into reality at regular intervals—at least, but not limited to, once a week for 52 weeks.
One of the best parts of the photo project is that I get to participate in my favorite activity: living creatively. From shadows and angles to natural scenes, I can photograph anything I want, as long as it’s in the spirit of VERTICAL.
